What This UAF Calculator Does and Does Not Use
This UAF CGPA calculator gives an estimate. It does not use an official University of Agriculture, Faisalabad grade table, because this site could not find one on the university's website. The courses tab uses the standard 4.0 letter scale below. The semesters tab uses only the GPAs you type, so its CGPA is exact when those GPAs come from your result cards.

The estimated GPA is 49.6 ÷ 15 = 3.31. Quality points are grade points multiplied by credit hours, so the 4-credit course counts twice as much as the 2-credit one.
CGPA Across Semesters
A first semester of 15 credit hours at 3.31 and a second of 18 credit hours at 2.90 give 49.65 + 52.20 = 101.85 quality points over 33 credit hours. The CGPA is 3.09. The plain average of the two GPAs would be 3.11, which is too high because the lower GPA came from the larger semester.
Postgraduate CGPA Minimums at UAF
UAF's Directorate of Graduate Studies publishes the minimum GPA and CGPA for postgraduate students.

Is this UAF's official GPA calculation?
No. This site could not find the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad grade or quality point table on uaf.edu.pk, so the courses tab uses a standard 4.0 letter scale. Treat its GPA as an estimate. The semesters tab is exact if you enter the GPAs printed on your result cards.
How is CGPA calculated from semester GPAs?
Multiply each semester's GPA by its credit hours, add the results and divide by the total credit hours. Semesters of 15 and 18 credit hours with GPAs of 3.31 and 2.90 give (49.65 + 52.20) ÷ 33 = 3.09.
Which tab should a UAF student use?
If your result card already shows a GPA for each semester, use the semesters tab. It only needs the GPA and credit hours, so it does not depend on the letter scale.
What is the minimum CGPA for postgraduate students at UAF?
UAF's Directorate of Graduate Studies lists 2.00 for M.A., M.Sc., MBA, MBIT, M.Com. and M.Sc. (CS), 2.75 for M.Sc. (Hons.), M.Phil. and MS, and 3.00 for Ph.D. A student below the figure ceases to be on the rolls.
Why do other UAF calculators give a different GPA?
They use different tables. Sites that publish a UAF table do not agree with each other, for example on whether the pass mark is 40% or 50%. Your result card is the reference.
Can I enter my own grade points?
Yes. The general CGPA calculator on this site takes grade points directly, so you can type the values from your result card.
