An Estimate, Not UCP's Official Scale
This UCP CGPA calculator estimates your GPA with a standard 4.0 letter scale. It does not use an official University of Central Punjab table, because this site could not find one on UCP's website. Use it to plan and to check your arithmetic. For a figure that must match your transcript, use the grade points UCP gives you.

Websites that publish a UCP scale disagree with each other. A B+ appears as 3.3, 3.33 and 3.5, and the percentage for each grade differs from site to site. None of them cites a UCP document, so this page does not repeat any of them as fact.

The estimated GPA is 40.0 ÷ 13 = 3.08. The A in the 1-credit lab adds only 4 quality points, while the C in a 3-credit course costs 6 compared with an A.
Getting an Exact CGPA
The second tab does not depend on any letter scale. Enter the credit hours and the GPA printed for each semester on your transcript. Semesters of 13 and 16 credit hours with GPAs of 3.08 and 3.45 give 40.04 + 55.20 = 95.24 quality points over 29 credit hours, a CGPA of 3.28.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this calculator use UCP's official grade points?
No. This site could not find the University of Central Punjab grade point table on ucp.edu.pk. The courses tab uses a standard 4.0 letter scale and its GPA is an estimate. The semesters tab is exact when you enter the GPAs from your own transcript.
What grade points does UCP give for a B+?
This site could not confirm it. Other websites quote 3.3, 3.33 and 3.5 for a B+ at UCP, and none of them links to a UCP document. Check your transcript or the UCP portal.
How much can the scale change my GPA?
Not much for a single grade. If all five of your 3-credit courses were a B+, the GPA would be 3.30 with 3.3 points per course and 3.33 with 3.33 points. The gap grows if the real value is 3.5.
How is the UCP CGPA worked out from semester GPAs?
By the standard credit-weighted method: multiply each semester GPA by its credit hours, add them and divide by the total credit hours. Semesters of 13 and 16 credit hours with GPAs of 3.08 and 3.45 give (40.04 + 55.20) ÷ 29 = 3.28.
Does UCP use relative grading?
This site could not confirm UCP's grading method from a UCP document. If grading is relative in your course, the marks needed for a grade depend on the class, so work from the letter grades on your result.
