UOG Gives a Grade Point for Each Mark
This UOG CGPA calculator uses the grading table in the University of Gujrat's semester rules for undergraduate programs, revised in 2025. The table does not use one value per letter. Each mark from 50 to 100 has its own grade point, so 79 and 65 are both a B but earn 3.60 and 2.50.

The table is section 13.6 of the Rules and Regulations for Undergraduate Degree Programs (Revised 2025), which the notification says is effective from Fall 2025. Students admitted under earlier rules, and graduate programs, may be graded under a different table. Check your own result card.

The semester GPA is 44.91 ÷ 14 = 3.21. One more mark in course 3, from 67 to 68, would add 0.10 grade points to that course and 0.30 quality points to the semester.
How Much One Mark Is Worth

Below 70, every mark is worth a tenth of a grade point. Between 70 and 85 each mark adds about 0.07. Above 85 extra marks do not change the GPA. A course at 49 earns nothing and a course at 50 earns 1.00, which is the largest single step in the table.
Promotion and Degree Requirements
The 2025 undergraduate rules say a student must obtain a GPA of at least 1.50 at the end of each semester to be promoted to the next one. For the degree, a CGPA of at least 2.00 is required. A student who finishes the eighth semester of a four-year BS program below 2.00 may be allowed to repeat some of the courses with the lowest grades to reach it.
For CGPA, use the second tab and enter each semester's credit hours and GPA. Semesters of 17 and 18 credit hours with GPAs of 3.21 and 2.95 give (54.57 + 53.10) ÷ 35 = 3.08.

How does the University of Gujrat convert marks to grade points?
UOG's rules for undergraduate programs (Revised 2025) give a grade point for each mark. 85 and above is 4.00, 80 is 3.67, 70 is 3.00, 60 is 2.00 and 50 is 1.00. Below 50 is an F with 0.00.
What marks do I need for a 4.00 at UOG?
